- I was trained as a special fx make up artist at The London College of Fashion, where I achieved a merit BA(hons) degree. I then worked for the BBC as the inhouse wigmaker. Since leaving the BBC I have been working as a freelance makeup and hair artist. The latest productions I have worked on are Midsummer Murders, 'The Special Relationship' and Harry Potter 'The Deathly Hallows'. I work on weddings alongside film and television work as it offers a variation in the work I do. I am an amicable person, and love design and being creative, which I believe follows through into my work.

Having worked at the BBC Wigstore and as a freelancer on many different media projects, I have developed a plethora of skills required by wigmakers, facial hair artists and professional makeup artists in the media/entertainment industry. As a naturally amicable, hard working person I am looking for employment, either in an individual or team role as I am committed to and passionate about the work I do.

ACTIVITIES AND INTERESTS
I have good working knowledge of computers, being experienced and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop and other similar applications.
I am a keen sports woman having represented my university and school in hockey and tennis as well as participating in the tall ships race for 5 years running. I am also a great believer in the strength of a united workforce, having served as student representative for 3 years at university; I am as happy to work for the good of 'team mates' as I am for myself.
